Le tendenze di domani emergono a volte in un luogo remoto, presso uno o pochi operatori, ma
indicano una nuova strada che si aprirà per tutti. Noi siamo e dobbiamo essere i primi a coglier-
le. Quando vediamo affiorare una nuova esigenza, operiamo una sintesi fra aziende di diverse
dimensioni, condizioni e mercati, e lanciamo un programma di ricerca dal quale nascerà una
nuova macchina, che proporremo poi a tutti, con le varianti specifiche per ciascuno. Così è av-
venuto in passato per i nostri brevetti: la de-aerazione, poi la riempitrice unica per liquidi fermi,
frizzanti e spumanti, oggi con la selezionatrice che individua i vuoti difettosi e li scarta prima
che entrino in ciclo e con la macchina per riempire e tappare la birra in lattina. Obiettivo: offrire
ad ogni cliente una macchina già dotata delle funzioni più utili per lui, comprese alcune a cui
non aveva ancora pensato, o che riteneva fuori dalla sua portata. Gai è una delle poche aziende

Tomorrow’s trends sometimes come from ideas proposed by one or more operators, but
they may become innovative proposals for everybody.
We are and must be the first to set and develop trends. We pay attention to new arising
demands, pick up the best from different companies, conditions and markets, launch a re-
search program and design a new machine to propose to all customers, with specific vari-
ations for each one of them. This was the case for de-aeration in the past, for the flexible
filler suitable for still and sparkling wines as well as champagne products and today for the
testing machine, which detects defective bottles and remove them before the beginning of
the bottling cycle, and for the machine to fill and cap beer cans.
The main goal is to offer custom-made machines that “are already fitted with everything”,
including features that customers have not yet conceived, or that they thought they could
not afford. Gai is one of the few companies in the world capable of providing the complete
package of bottling and labelling equipment, covering all the process stages “from the
product to the finished bottle”. Everything is always strictly built in Gai according to high-
quality standards.
