Tutta l’energia solo quando
serve, a impatto zero
I cogeneratori funzionano a metano e consumano circa 1.000.000 m³/anno.
massima fino a 4.400 kW.
Currently, the company’s energy and heating needs are entirely supplied by internal sources.
The plant consists of:
> A 5,860 kWp photovoltaic system with an annual production of over 6,450,000 kWh.
> Three Viessmann generators with a global power of around 1,300 kW, an annual production
of approximately 3,000,000 kWh of electricity and over 4,000,000 kWh of heat.
The generators operate on natural gas and consume around 1,000,000 m³/year.
> A 3,240 kW Piller Uninterruptible Power Supply operating at 15 kV, that provides high quality
and stable electrical output (voltage of 400Volt ±5, frequency of 50 Hz, cos 0.997).
This unit successfully controls all micro-interruptions thanks to a kinetic accumulation of 60 mega
Joules. The problem of pollution due to disposal is overcome as storage batteries are not used.
> A Cummins emergency power system of 1,500 kW which activates in case of macro-interruptions.
> Energy storage batteries capable of storing 8,800 kWh, with a maximum instantaneous power
output of up to 4,400 kW.
Since 2015, when the initial setup of this system was launched, it has successfully pre-
vented all power supply interruptions. It has also reduced our carbon emission of more
than 2,100 tons/year, allowing the company to work towards net-zero climate impact
(carbon neutral). For years, it has stood at the forefront of trigeneration technology.
